Saw blade service – generating circular business
LSAB Suomi (part of the LSAB Group) are performing service on bandsawblades and circular sawblades. Their customers are the sawmills in Finland. When you buy a quality saw blade from LSAB Suomi, service can be made up to 20 times before it’s time to scrap the blade. During this time the customer has saved up to 90 % of the CO2-emissions, compared to buying new saw blades.
LSAB Suomi won a sustainability competition arranged by 7th in September 2023 by pointing out the fact that not only can the customer reduce 47 % of the cost, but they can also save 94 % of the CO2-emissions when the sawblade was re-tipped 15 times. A good business for the environment and cost-saving!
